Back to Reality

Salam...

It has been two weeks since I left Malaysia which also means I'm now back to reality. The classmates had been asking me how was my summer break and they could imagine how excited I was to be able to get along with the family. Yes.. undeniably the well-spent time with the family was precious but that 3 months break was torturing me as well. Laying on bed at all times until I reached to a point where I could stare at the ceiling for 2 consecutive hours. How would that be?

So when the time to leave Malaysia was approaching, I had been experiencing mixed feelings. Part of me felt miserable to leave my homeland (even pergi KL pun rasa sedih nak tinggal parents ) and the other part felt eager to start a new productive life abroad. heheh.. even though we had been given an earlier caution that the second year is going to be a lot busier than before, still to get right back on the track is a relief.

In celebrating our homecoming, we had a dinner at Lahore as well as celebrating the Septemberians, both birthday girl and the belated ones *nak jugak...We had also moved in to our new house which I think a lot comfy and safer even though it takes a longer time to reach the uni. In short, all is well for now. I'm happy to be back.

Just a couple of days before the class started, I'd got a problem with my state of health. It was something I'd never experienced and the pain was killing me regardless of the pain killers I'd taken. Happened to be, the process of seeing a doctor was a bit complicated since I wasn't sure who my GP is and it is the policy in the UK that you need to be registered under your own clinic before you get the treatment. It's totally different to Malaysia where you can just walk in to any clinics or hospitals you want providing your pocket or wallet is full :D

The other excitement to be back is to meet a junior of our naqibah, the cute little Suhail.. The babysitters were delighted to look for a new winter outfit for Suhail. Sebenarnya x sabar nak jadi mak sebab baju baby semua comel2. huhu..

Till then, Assalamualaikum..

Untitled

Salam..

Pain. No matter how deep it is, no matter how long it takes, it will eventually end. Just give the heart some times and everything will be just fine. The same goes to happiness. They both eventually end too.

So the question is, how do we adapt with these different phase of life as they will just alternate randomly. As for me, I keep reminding myself to be moderate, to always stay in the middle. This is like standing on a safe side in which whenever life offers you either happiness or pain, you are hardly being too immersed with the situation you are currently in. As so you will be easily letting it go whenever the time comes.

To my dismay, I've grown up to be someone who do not much care of things happening around me which has much less affected me in making decisions. Not that I didn't care at all but sometimes... I feel like why do I have to constantly think of the same things when everything is going to end fairly soon. You've got to live your life no matter what happens. I never know what the future brings and so I have nonchalantly made some decisions in life. Little that I know this so called 'pegangan' of mine eventually made me regret. Yes..I have to slowly admit that I've been regretting this one thing I made. Uhh..

Okay sebelum makin banyak merapu baik tido. Bye

Venice At Its Best!!

Salam...

It's a great relief to finally arrive in Malaysia after a tedious journey from London. Travelling around London with a 30kg carriage each was not a good idea I shall say. London is way too crowded with its people are always in a state of rush. And for the beginner in London like us we had to make sure to not standing in the middle of the people while looking for the directions to avoid from blocking their ways (that's what we always did..mihmih..). A week before strolling around in London, we already had an amazing trip to Venice. So, I didn't really feel the sense of excitement to be in London when I was the one who urged my housemates to stay there for several days before getting back to Malaysia =_=

Initially, we didn't plan to go outside the UK this year but since the flight ticket to Venice was just only 30 pound, how could we resist it? hihi.. Those 4 days duration there was satisfying enough with lots of pictures taken for sure :D

Day 1

We set up early in the morning and took a taxi to the Leeds Bradford Airport and reached Treviso Airport at about 11a.m. As soon as we landed, everybody started complaining, "oh panasnyaaaa..." haha... but still we could put our jackets on. From the airport, we took a bus to Venice and settled down at our own accommodations before gathering again to begin our first day. *sorry I can't mention what is each place called. Not only that I forgot but the name itself is hard to memorize. ngeeee..

Awal-awal sampai wajiblah semua tercengang-cengang

Some were busy looking for directions

We did plan on trying the gondola ride but since it was too expensive, we took the water bus instead and it was fun as well. The local people were laughing to see us being so excited..haha..

We spent our third day until midnight just to experience the night scenery. Well, those who came for honeymoon would love it since there were abundance of orchestra performances during the night. And I love it too!!

Day 4

It's time to say goodbye to Venice.. I really had a wonderful time there with my fellow friends. Hope to be there again in the future. *okay ayat karangan zaman sekolah dulu. hikhok..

Till then, Assalamualaikum

Hanun's 20th Birthday

Salam..

This is a last month story in which I had to put it off for a while due to the 'busyness' for the preparation of the final exam. *konon la busy hewhew

the ex-birthday girl
Regardless of her childishness, Hanun is actually the second eldest among us but it seems like our sense of maturity overwhelm that of hers. But that's fine.. at least we do have someone that cheers the situation whenever it is too tense, cook for us on each Tuesday, managing the monthly expenses of the whole house, dealing with the house's agent for any troubles and most importantly, someone that completes the five of us. Eh eh..lebih-lebih pulak dah puji =_=

So this time we decided to make something different and came out with the idea for an outdoor's celebration at Lister Park. Me, Akmal and Syimir went a bit early to set up the place but unfortunately after we have done with the preparation, the rain poured down. We were thinking of cancelling the plan but..

luckily the weather turned back to normal..yeay!!
Well it was just for a few minutes before a slight rain poured again. =_= Anyway we did have a lot of fun gathering, eating and snapping pictures!!

Going back home..
These past few days had been a bit hectic since we planned to move out from our house. Surveying several properties looking for the most affordable yet safer and comfortable was really tedious. Luckily we managed to find one and the problem with the current agent had also been solved. He kept persuading us to stay but when thinking of our own safety, we had better moved out.

But there's this one problem which has not yet been solved. It's not yet the end of the month but my expenses has really gone beyond the limit!! Haha.. Paying deposit for the new house, spending a lot of them at the designer outlet (since I'm going back to Malaysia, a gift for the relatives is a must) and paying the flight ticket for next month's vacation. Hmmm

Let's just forget it for a moment because.. June is going to be awesome with full of vacations and right after that, Malaysia is waiting. Yeay!!

Till then, Assalamualaikum..

L.O.V.E

Salam..

Cukup cintai dia dalam diam
Bukan kerana membenci dirinya
Tetapi menjaga kesuciannya
Cukup cintainya dari kejauhan
Kerana hadirmu takkan mampu menjauhkannya dari ujian
Cukup cintainya dengan kesederhanaan
Memupuknya hanya akan menambahkan penderitaan
Sekiranya di pengakhiran dia bukan milikmu
Maka cintailah dia dengan keikhlasan
Seperti kisah cinta suci saidatina Fatimah dan saidina Ali
Yang pada mulanya diingini oleh hati
Namun akhirnya Allah pertemukan jua

Biarlah kita segagah Yusuf, seinsaf Zulaikha. Mana mungkin cinta suci bergaul dengan cinta penuh noda.

Verse of the Soul

Salam..

Hey blog, it's been a while since my last update ya. I've just got nothing to rant on here. That's why.. And also the previous weeks had been a bit occupied with the practical tests, submissions and what not. So, we couldn't make the weekends any better other than just staying at home. It left me with no idea on what to express.

Today is the last lecture of my first year. Can't believe I almost make it to the end. The final is within two-weeks time. *oh pening pening. Asal type final exam aje rasa mual  =,=

Anyway, what I wanna share here is my favourite verse in the Quran. A friend of mine shared this when I was in a deep sorrow. Biasa la manusia kan..ade naik turunnya.

al-Hadid : 22,23

This verse left a big impact on me. Betapa hebatnya buku Allah ini. It has everything in it. You need not to seek for something else because everything is just there in the Quran. My murabbi once said, 'you're hardly understood what is Allah trying to convey through His book unless you are put in the situation as described'. And I thank Allah for putting me in this situation and also giving me the opportunity to have this nice feeling inside me. Rasa disayangi.. :)

I've learnt a lot throughout life. Dengan turunnya ujian dari Allah, it has somehow built the sense of maturity in me in dealing with the varieties of life. Allah will never burden His servants beyond their limits and that's why we have to look through the hardships He gave in a positive way, in a way that we can take some ibrah. What I've always reminded myself is for every test given by Allah is actually a sign of love. He wants me to return to Him and this is one of the ways for Him to call me back towards Him.

At this time as well, we will see the true colours of the people around us. They said the true companions are those who stood by us through ups and downs and I could see it now. Even the people you are not aware of could be the best adviser while the people you hope for could have just disappeared without words. Well..that's life. At least it makes me a stronger person. I've always been in a comfort zone all this while. I've always got what I wanted for. In short, life has been so easy for me before. When the hard times came, it feels like giving up, but again I thank Allah for His rahmat that made me keep holding on and He replaced what I lost by sending me several friends to put things back right onto its place.

First Week of Easter

Salam..

The first week of Easter has been so exciting yet terrifying *don't get me wrong. It's actually a wonderful terrifying experience. tehee. Since the snow had stop falling although some still remain on the ground, we decided to proceed with our outing. And so we had a lunch at nando's before hitting the bowling center in the afternoon. Just an ordinary activity but at least it did bring the boredom away without having anything particular to do.

posing aje lebih tapi baling bola masuk longkang.hihi

When Monday came, we went to Alton Towers, the day that I've been waiting for. It's similar to Genting Highland but I bet this one is more extreme. Our train to Uttoxeter was at 6.30 a.m and I woke up at 3.30 a.m, performed my prayer and made a fried rice in case of hunger.

There were two interchanges we had to make before arriving at Uttoxeter station. Happened to be, Kak Mirah (my senior) was a bit late and we had to wait for the next train to Leeds and it dragged the schedule afterwards. But at last, we managed to arrive at Alton Towers even though it was an hour late than the exact plan.

The theme park was not too crowded from what I thought it would be. Anyway it's a good sign since we didn't have to queue too long for our turn to get onto the rides. Unfortunately, most of the rides were closed due to the snow the day before. Pathetic..

That was before we entered The Sanctuary, a haunted hospital. I swear you it was so scary that Akmal only made it half way. The ghosts appeared in every corner and they kept screaming and poking us.

The most scariest part was when we entered a room full of chemicals and there was a psychopath holding a saw and he kept drawing his face towards us. He then went to a lady who was lying on a bed, took out a baby from her tummy and brought the dead baby near us. Seriously, I was about giving up. Huhu..

This was the first ride we had a go at which left us hanging upside down. Thanks God I didn't throw up. Whilst on the ride, I kept thinking, what if the grip slipped off and I fell down like what happened in Final Destination. But the other part of me kept urging to have a try. Otherwise the 30 pound fare would be a waste, right?

Apart from these thriller rides, there were several other attractions in which I would consider suitable for the cowards like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Ice Age, Marauder's Mayhem and so on.

Marauder's Mayhem

I was aiming for the roller coaster and to my dismay, all of them were not operating. Anyhow, at about 5.00 p.m, when the theme park was nearly closed, they announced that one of the roller coaster was available after they've cleared the snow. Dapat la jugak merasa even for just a ride. Overall rating I could give is 4 stars since we didn't have a chance to try the most thriller ride due to the snow. And the weather was also killing. It was rather unsatisfactory for it didn't worth the fare. So, pay a second visit maybe? hehe..

That's all for now. Till then, Assalamualaikum
