First Snow Experince

Salam...

The winter is coming to its end. Means no more trembling and shivering after this. ~finger crossed. But I will be missing the snow!! Talking about the snow, the first timer like me was so anticipated waiting for the snow to fall. *ye saya jakun. It's kinda irritating when people from other places started to post their pictures with the snow in FB yet in Bradford it's still sunny, sometimes cloudy. The first snow was disappointing. It only covered the pavement but still, I took a snap and sent it to my mom. Teruja lah katakan..

snow manja manja

Redha ajelah.. They said the first time is never going to be the best, so yeah.. keep waiting. It was the last two weeks when the 'real' snow started to fall. That time we went for sledging along with the postgraduates. Punyalah semangat beli papan sledge even it costed double than it is during any other seasons.

Despite of her broken knee..=
Ready, get set, go!!
The miserable Snowman

It was ultimately cold that I couldn't barely move my fingers even with the gloves on. Need to buy a proper one for the next winter. While in the UK, extra care is needed for a better skin condition due to the cold weather. Dry skin is a major problem and I need to keep my skin extremely hydrated at all time. Thus, moisturizer is a compulsory for everyday use unless if you wanna see yourself looking like a scary granny. Heehe.. Well, that really happened. Can feel myself becoming more feminine because I never pay attention to wear moisturizer on all parts of the body before. :p

Psssttt...

Just now in the morning, someone made a surprise. As usual, I went to the kitchen to have some cereals for breakfast, then I saw this

Mine was finished before they were being captured..wee

Oh..how I wish this would happen everyday. *wink. Till then, Assalamualaikum..

Ireland

Ireland

Salam..

Well, this is a continuation of the previous post. It was on a winter break when we departed from Bradford to Ireland. I was so excited to be there for the very first time. And now I was given the opportunity to step on this Irish country. Alhamdulillah.. But the main purpose of us being there was to attend PUISI.

PUISI?? What's that?

PUISI stands for Perhimpunan Ukhuwwah Insaniyah Seluruh Ireland..and Ustz. Hasrizal was invited to give a talk. Lagi la excited kan..This year, PUISI came out with a theme of 'The Road Not Taken'. Remember one of the topics we covered in the literature during Form 2? *not sure if it's the same in all states. PUISI kali ni juga berpandukan Surah Al-Kahfi.

To be frank, I can't really find the relation between the theme and the Surah but regardless of that, I did obtain a lot of inputs. As a typical muslim, we are exactly familiar with Surah Yasin which is encouraged to be recited on every Thursday night. We are even exposed to this Surah since in the primary school. Little that we realize Surah Al-Kahfi is a vital to be practiced as well.

In syaa Allah..

So now lets take a look on some of the pictures we had snapped while in Ireland. Luckily, we managed to stroll around before the program started.

UK Part 1

Bradford~York~Manchester~Newcastle

All of sudden I came out with an idea to blog. Why? Don't you have any other things to do? Absolutely no..This is like an attempt of being more productive during the weekends (hope so) since I would have just killed my time lying on the bed absolutely doing nothing. Pathetic.. Anyway, it has been almost 4 months I'm in Bradford. So lets start from the beginning. Yeay!!

After 16 hours journey from Malaysia

It took about a week for us to settle things down like
1. Completing the registration
2. Opening a bank account
3. Buying things for moving into a new house and etc.

Thanks to the seniors that were really helpful during that moment, and they even brought us to explore some of the places nearby.*even dapat makan free lagi kot.tehee.. So the first was a visit to York.

In front of..erk, lupa pulak ape nama castle nih..ok,,abaikan

Not to forget, one of the great things here is our university will arrange a trip on every weekend for the international students but with payment, for sure. And so we did grab a chance to join, making the next trip to Newcastle.

love this!!

So those are basically a few parts I've been. Will be continued in the next post since I got Clinical Optometry slide to go through before tomorrow's lecture. Wait..where did you spent your 3 days break anyway?? Only the night before the lecture you intend to make a preparation. Oh well, it's complicated.

Till the, Assalamualaikum..
